This lesson, we were asked to create game rules and a map for our game, so we got into groups, and then we firstly sorted out our similarities in our characters in the group. We decided to come up with the basics firstly, by getting the health for each player. I was an assassin, so my health was low, but I could do strong attacks. once we had the health sorted, I decided to design ideas for a map.
Later we all thought it would be a good idea if we all had special moves, so everyone thought up an idea, and then we tested how it would work in the game, and if it was fair, so we tweaked the ideas to make them fair. my character had the power of seduction, which allowed me to control a enemy player for 2 turns, but i was not able to attack them. Once we sorted the special moves out, we came back to the rules.
We discussed rules for a while, and finally came up with this. Melee move 2 spaces, Ranged move 1 space. Each player cannot attack on first move, and when you were close enough to attack someone, there were 3 stages. Firstly you roll a dice to see if you hit or miss. ( 1,2,3 = hit 4,5,6 = miss ) if you hit, you roll the dice to see what number you get 1 = -10 HP, 2 = -20 HP etc...) however, if you got a 6, you use your special move. then you roll again if your special move says so, or not.
